🧾 MasenoEveryFinder – Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MasenoEveryFinder app (the “Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have legal consent from a guardian to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

  • Users must register and create an account to post listings, shops, or services.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You agree to provide accurate, truthful information and update it as needed.

4. User-Generated Content

Users can post:

  • Shops and product listings
  • Service advertisements
  • Secondhand items
  • Posters and general announcements
  • (Soon) Hostel listings

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post:

  • Illegal items or services
  • Misleading or fraudulent content
  • Offensive, abusive, or pornographic materials
  • Spam or repetitive postings

MasenoEveryFinder reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Prohibited Activities

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
  • Post false, harmful, or defamatory content
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Interfere with Platform security or operations
  • Attempt to scrape or hack the Platform

6. Payments and Transactions

  • MasenoEveryFinder does not handle direct payments between buyers and sellers.
  • All transactions are conducted at your own risk.
  • Users are encouraged to verify legitimacy before making any payments.
  • We are not liable for any loss or fraud arising from off-platform transactions.

7. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to external sites or contacts. MasenoEveryFinder is not responsible for the content, privacy, or reliability of these third-party services.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that:

  • Violates our terms
  • Posts prohibited content
  • Is suspected of fraud, spam, or abuse

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content, branding, UI design, and code belong to MasenoEveryFinder unless otherwise stated.
  • Users retain rights to the content they post but grant the Platform a license to display it publicly.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy outlines how your data is collected, used, and protected.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • MasenoEveryFinder is not responsible for:
    • Disputes between users
    • Items not delivered or as described
    • Financial losses or damages resulting from use of the app

Use the Platform at your own discretion and risk.

12. Modifications

MasenoEveryFinder may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes implies your acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be handled within Kenyan legal jurisdiction.
